Bedrooms

Sleeping 40 guests in 18 unique bedrooms there is plenty of space for all of your guests to get-together under one roof. There are also 12 bathrooms made up of a mixture of baths and showers. If you needed more space we also have another venue called Merrymeet (7 bedrooms) a 2 minute drive away or a 10 minute walk.

Reception rooms and Dining

On the barn side you will find two large reception rooms both nearly 50 feet long. One is the dining room which can dine up to 64 guests in one room. Secondly you will find the living room with comfy squishy sofas and a large 60 inch LCD TV. This is perfect for everyone to get-together to relax or even host a party. On the hall side you will find a second living room with a dining room sitting 20. There’s also a mini Xbox snug, a reading room, and a games room with a table football and table tennis. There are also two well equipped kitchens. Whether you want to host yourself or bring in a caterer, there’s lots of space to make that yummy meal.

Outdoors & Local Area

One of the great features of Hamps Hall and Barn is the fact that you have a large amount of private garden space. Here, you can host all your guests for a BBQ, conduct outdoor activities, or even set up a marquee in the adjacent field. You can also hire out a couple of hot tubs from a third party supplier.

In the local area you will find a great selection of walks straight from the front door, and the Peak District has every type of outdoor activity you can possibly imagine. You can even bring in activity providers to the field at Hamps such as Archery or Lazor clay pigeon shooting.

You will also find 2 x 5 person hot tubs on site to enjoy the starry nights with your guests.

There is an accessible friendly bathroom next door to a downstairs bedroom. We can provide floor plans should you need to understand the layout better.

Finally down the road a 10 minute walk you can find two great country pubs for a hearty Sunday roast!

Please note there is no wedding license at this venue, but we do welcome receptions. There are a number of local churches and registry offices.
