Daisy House offers a stunning, open—plan kitchen, living and dining area with a mezzanine above the kitchen that looks out over half of the space and serves as a fantastic den for hanging out and having some cosy quiet time. The kitchen itself offers everything you could require to prepare a delicious meal to share with your loved ones. The close proximity of the dining and living areas makes it possible for the rest of your guests to entertain the chef, keeping them company between meals. On days when the weather permits, guests can make use of the outdoor furniture on the patio, for dining al-fresco with a beautiful view of the Devon countryside. 

Across from the kitchen, the dining table serves as a perfect place for all 4 guests to enjoy a meal together with a toasty fire warming the room from the sitting room section next to it. After dinner, guests can sink into the plush sofas for a conversation or movie night, or opt to hang out in the mezzanine den upstairs. When it’s time for bed, guests can make their way downstairs instead, where they will find two immaculate bedrooms.

Bedrooms:

Daisy House offers a total of two cosy bedrooms, consisting of a twin room and a compact double with space for a cot. Both of the bedrooms feature parquet flooring and soft beige walls, creating a lovely peaceful ambience to guarantee a good night’s sleep. There is also a sleeper couch that can be used for an older child or additional guest. It is possible to add a cot into the twin room if both beds are not in use, however, the space is small so this may not work if guests wish to use both of the existing beds in this room. In summary, the bedrooms are arranged as follows:

• Bedroom 1: 1 x double bed
• Bedroom 2: 2 x single beds
• Additional option: 1 x sleeper couch

Daisy House is located in the beautiful Devon countryside, nestled in the stunning Primrose Estate within the South Hams region of Devon. Primrose Estate is a holiday estate that offers a wide range of features and facilities that make it perfect for family holidays. The estate alone offers a communal tennis quart, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a children’s play area, and a hot tub and sauna/spa area for a truly relaxing experience. Guests often tell us that they run out of time to fit everything in and need a return visit to explore fully this amazing area of England and the South West.

Nature enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the estate is close to Dartmoor National Park, where Dartmoor ponies roam through the impressive landscape. The national park offers a range of trails where guests can explore abandoned medieval farmhouses, Neolithic tombs, and Bronze Age stone circles.

Those in search of a little more action can explore some of the many nearby towns such as Totnes, Dartmouth, and Salcombe, which offer an array of restaurants and artisan shops for guests to explore. Make plans for a fun-filled, action-packed time messing about on the water, or maybe visit Woodlands Adventure Park. Regardless of how you envision the perfect holiday, you’re bound to find it at Primrose Estate. Our restaurants, cafes, and waterside inns offer something for all, from Michelin-star dining to simple beach shack fare. Close to the coast as we are, no visit would be complete without sampling the wonderful, fresh seafood, not to mention fab fish and chips! British food at its freshest.
