Upon entering the old chapel, you are welcomed inside one of the two reception rooms boasting high ceilings, an authentic wooden floor, and a grand stone fireplace adorned with a log burner. Both communal spaces offer plush sofas with unique artwork pasted on the walls and large windows allowing plenty of light. One offers a large television for relaxing and socialising including Netflix and Amazon whilst the other offers fantastic views across the river. So whether you’re watching the world go by on a Summer’s morning or cosying in front of the fire on a Winter’s night, Daffodil Chapel is a great base for your countryside escape.

There are two dining areas for guests to enjoy, one more casual in the open plan kitchen and another separately for more of a formal sit-down meal. The solid wooden dining table seats 12 comfortably and would be perfect for both home cooked meals or if you’re wanting to bring in a third party supplier for catering you can do that to for the ultimate hassle free evening. The open plan kitchen offers full amenities for all your cooking desires and has French doors leading out into the private garden and patio. The outside space offers a garden sofa, BBQ and a fire pit – perfect for a relaxing Summer’s evening.

Bedrooms:

Daffodil Chapel offers 4 king size bedrooms on the first floor and 2 king size bedrooms on the top floor along with a large lounge with a king sized sofa bed, 2 sofas and a television. All bedrooms are airy and fresh and boasting white bedlinen and towels alongside memory foam mattresses for the perfect night sleep.

Based just 8 miles from Downham Market, a typically English town which is one of Norfolk’s oldest, where the attractive market place is immediately identifiable with a black and white clock. The town retains a really intimate feel, characterised by many fine and historic buildings, a bustling market opens many Fridays and Saturdays where you can buy a variety of goods from clothes to fresh produce – as well as a host of local independent shops.
