Function Rooms:

Barley House offers an airy dining room to seat 18 guests with high ceilings and original beams, with a special mention to the oak spiral staircase leading to the lounge. We know how special it is to spend time with loved ones over a delicious meal so whether the chef in your group is in charge of cooking up a storm or you hire in catering, socialising in this room is bound to create special memories. 

Leading from the dream-like staircase to the living room, this space provides comfortable seating for 16 guests with a large flat screen television and access to Sky TV. Again, the high ceilings and large windows make this a perfect space to relax with all your guests. As well as this, Barley House offers other reception rooms that are multifunctional and are often used as yoga studios or party areas. Plenty of packages or catering options can be organised with the owner at Barley House who can happily accommodate a wide range of groups.

Barley House is perfect for family groups with children as there is a walled courtyard, lawn with climbing frame and slide and swings for hours of fun. Guests can unwind and relax in the 8 seater hot tub which is included in the rental as well as ample private parking for up to 12 vehicles.

Bedrooms:

Barley House splits into two sections, the bedrooms are away from the noise of the reception areas which is great for those wanted a little more privacy. The standard option this property is set to 14 guests but up to 18 can be accommodated at an additional cost.

The first bedroom hosts an En-suite double bedroom (sleeps 2) plus 2 on request, the second an en-suite with 4 single beds (sleeping 4) plus 2 on request. The third bedroom has an en-suite with double bed and 2 single beds (sleeping 4) and both the fifth and sixth room have 1 bedroom with a twin or a super king bed (upon request) with a shared bathroom (sleeping 2 in each).

This historical house provides open and modern spaces which encourage wellness groups but also lends itself to get togethers and parties as up to 80 additional day guests are allowed. So whether you’re celebrating a big birthday or just need an excuse to getaway, Barley House is a great option.
