One of the key features of any property is the kitchen – providing a practical space but also a hub for socialising with your guests and of course, Hawthorn House doesn’t disappoint. Here you will find a newly refurbished open plan kitchen and diner, a fully fitted well equipped  kitchen with a large breakfast bar with stools for a casual dining setting.

The dining space with a large wooden table which seats up to 16 guests serves as the main and more formal dining space – perfect for a buffet style dinner or feel free to bring in an external catering company to serve you all evening.

At Hawthorn House, all the main rooms roll into each other – following from the dining area there is a classic Georgian dual aspect sitting room. Here you will find a beautifully decorated room with an open fire which is also large enough for your whole group to relax together. Large windows and plenty of plants make this room feel light and airy with a comfortable and homey feel.

Hawthorn House also offers plenty of outside space, perfect for enjoying sunny weather and relaxing in the fresh air. The south facing terrace provides a lovely spot to soak up the sun and you will even find a large outside dining area with a BBQ for the chefs of your group to show off. The large lawn in the summer offers plenty of space to play games.

Bedrooms:

In the master bedroom you will find a king sized bed with 2 single beds both which have trundles sleeping 6 guests. Bedroom two is a twin with a trundle for 3 guests, bedroom three has a king sized bed and two singles sleeping 4 guests and bedroom four is a twin with a trundle accommodating 3 guests.

We love Hawthorn House for it’s classical style but also the fantastic outdoor space that will appeal to guests of all ages and interests, whether you want to soak up the sun, play some games or simply relax and enjoy the scenery this venue provides the space to do so, you can even bring your furry friends along.
