In order to deal with the coronavirus crisis, there is a new government policy in place. The policy states that only social gatherings of up to 6 guests from 3 different households, or more if you’re from the same household or support bubble will be accepted. Consequently, this may affect all upcoming bookings until the end of 2020. We want our guests to have a good time, and your safety is a priority. Therefore, we would like to address all your concerns and queries before we proceed with your booking. We would also like to take into consideration any Covid-19 changes that could be faced.
For our Peak District venues, given the current Covid-19 situation, we have had to change some of our policies and procedures in order to make sure your stay complies with government regulations. Most importantly, we need to ensure the health and safety of our guests and employees. We have a very strict cleaning policy in place that our housekeeping team and maintenance staff are expected to fulfil. This includes deep monthly cleans including window cleaning and mattress turning. Furthermore, there will be extensive cleaning ‘in-between’ guests – changing towels, linens, vacuum throughout and a bleach clean of bathrooms and kitchens. All contact surfaces like door handles, light switches, and bannister rails will also be disinfected.
While every extra effort is made by the owners to disinfect the property entirely and thoroughly, the owners or contractors employed by the owner take no liability for the transmission of coronavirus.
Covid-19 / Coronavirus Condition
Guests that start to experience any symptoms of coronavirus such as a cough, fever, or headache, must inform the owner immediately via phone or email. The safety of our guests is paramount during this time. Therefore, the UK governments advice on extra cleaning pertaining to Covid-19 has been read and passed on to every housekeeper. Furthermore, we have instructed and confirmed with every owner that cleanliness standards put in place by the government need to be met.
