Outdoor Pursuits

Take your event to the next level and add in some exciting outdoor pursuits.  With exclusive use of your venue you have the flexibility to include some bespoke activities, from shooting to off-road driving, dragon boat racing to duck herding.  Whatever your event we can help you find the activity to suit your group, so sit back, relax and leave the hard work of organising things to us.  We’re here to help.

Planning a house party?  Then why not add in something fun to get everyone involved from the start.  There’s nothing like a bit of team games to break the ice.  If you’re in Scotland try some mini highland games and see who can toss the caber the furthest.  If your guests are less active then a relaxed game of croquet is a more gentle pastime, especially when accompanied by tea and cakes on the lawn.

Want to shoot, hunt or fish?  We have a number of small country houses with sporting estates, perfect for exclusive shooting parties or fishing.

Our corporate clients can introduce an element of competition with laser clays, satellite treasure hunts and orienteering or dragon boat racing to name but a few.  Our venues can offer plenty of space for a range of challenges, and with exclusive use there’s the freedom to tailor-make your event.

We can also offer a number of bespoke driving experiences.  Enjoy the thrill of a day on the track with a selection of some of the fastest cars around or experience some on-road driving in a super-car.  Perfect for a special treat with friends or to incentivise the team these super-car days can be arranged to your choice of location and dates.

For those wishing to drive their own cars there can be no greater pleasure than a grand tour with friends on a route planned especially for you.  Explore an area by road and stay in your private country manor or castle.  Whether you fancy a weekend in Suffolk or a Scottish adventure we can arrrange a tour staying at some of the finest private venues en-route.

Get up close and personal with the birds, with a falconry display or birds of prey experience at one of our luxury venues.

One of a range of more historical pastimes it’s an easy and interesting activity to layer in to an event.  Other similar options may include archery and duck herding, for those not wanting too much exertion!

Fancy something different – how about trying your own master chef skills at one of our cookery schools.  It’s lots of fun and you get to eat it after!

Other alternatives might be cocktail master-classes with a mixologist to create your own signature blend, or chocolate making.  Both creating a delicious result.

Have a bit of fun with some motorised activities. Quad bikes let you get out in the open and try out your off-road driving skills.  There’s plenty of choice of venues which suit some individual challenges as well as team efforts.  Contact us for all the options.
